KO knight online:KO money guide

1. By far, the most used and effective method is buy low/sell high. Get aquainted with the market. If the market is in decline like it is now, PM the person and sway them into a cheaper price before buying an item. Yes, even five million even helps. 2. Seek people who are selling items through the chat box. Most of those people are desperate to get their items away and you can persuade them at a lower price which you can sell later. 3. Renting! A new feature brought on by the expansion in which you are able to rent your items for up to 24 hours. This is a great way to make pocket money. Also, I heard fossils sell for around 250k. 4. NP Metals. Trade in your national points for NP metals and use those to get unique items. However, choose this wisely because you may need these valuable points for your clan. 5. Magic Armor. 6. Do NOT take your chances with the anvil especially when I hear that there is decreasing chances of success since the expansion. If you do, you just may end up quitting! 7. Use the buying merchant feature to get the items you want for what you're willing to pay for! 8. Forgotten Temple/BDW. This is an easy way of making money. By attending low lvl FT, you may get a green chest, high lvl FT wins you a blue chest, and BDW wins reward you with a red chest. I realize some people like Sammy cannot attend these events due to different time zones. (FT enabled) 9. Bifrost fragments. As your level increases, you will have a better chance of making money. That is because you can go to bifrost (not dying in the process) and farm frags with an organized clan. (Bifrost disabled) 10. Juraid Mountain. This event is limited to lvl 70+ but gems can get you a hefty some of money if you can enter this event once or twice a day. If you are one of the lucky ones, you may get a unique which would severly boost up your coins. (i.e. Howling Rooster, Lillime's Enticement) 11. Boss events/Boss runs. Although not so often nowadays, there were numerous amounts of boss events back in the days. Yes, the bosses DO DROP uniques in boss events although you may have killed bach and asked yourself why it didn't drop a rol. I have killed a Felankor myself and you can guess what I got. ^^ Also, boss runs after server maintenance or spot checking for bosses in CZ or Ardream is a nice way to get money if it is actually a good drop. Note: Bach, Bishop, and Duke have been replaced with Dulian, Jersey, and Query. These are different monsters (and much harder!) but drops the same items. Dulian Jersey Query 12. More time merchant/ less time PK. 13. Abyss BUS. Once you have a hefty sum of money (~400m), you can go to the abyss and buy BUS scrolls at a discount price of 2.4m each. Regular price goes for 2.6m each. If you buy 200 BUS and sell them for 2.5m each, you will make 20m. I recommend using this method when the market is unstable because it retains a steady cash flow. (Letters are enabled) 14. Tax Rate 0%. Occasionally, the clan that controls the Delos castle would lower the tax rate to 0% so that the clans can pot up with no tax. This is the perfect opportunity to buy soul pots at Delos for 13.5k each compared to normal price at 16k and arena price at 15k. 15. Spammable Moradon quests. As a rogue, you can spam the lard orc quest (without actually turning in the quest) and you will end up with several cleavers +5. It's a great way for newcomers to make money even though it may be a small amount. Such as the lard orc quest or the lvl 46 burning skeleton quest which is now spammable up to lvl 50. Level 46 Burning Skeleton Quest: Warrior = +3/30 Glave Mage = +3/30 Salamander Priest = +3/30 Totamic club Rogue = +3/30 Mirage Dagger / Iron XBow You have a choice of weapons or shields, the above listing is the weapons only. 16. Farming FP +5. Many have recommended this idea because DTS/DTC do drop a good amount of full plate armors. I've never really done this myself but although tedious, you may end up with some cash under your belt. 17. MP Recovery Weapons. As much as I have played around with these weapons, I have found it to be extremely helpful if you have a higher level character that uses an mp recovery weapon. This saves the use of soul pots and in turn, saves you money. 18. Priest's HP Pots. If you happen to be a priest at level 60+, you're able to make pots cheaper. Some people have said they made 100m in 3 hours with this method. This is a very easy way to make money as a priest. 19. Be the first to obtain cursed weapons! This will be a tough task but if you're one of the few who can stack them up on merchant, you will make lots of money. 20. Power of Kings. Kings have the power to distribute money. Occasionally, they will give out 1m or 5m coins. PM him/her and you might be the lucky one. 21. Fight for the money! If you're desperate for money, going to wars may actually help if you just started. For capturing/recapturing monument, your nation will award you with 200k noah. I recommend this option only if you seriously run out of other options.

KO knight online:Upgrading Guide

The first thing you should realize when upgrading an item is that there is always a possibility for it to break (unless otherwise stated) no matter what kind of scroll you use. And respectively, the lower the + on the item your upgrading, the better the chance for success. I use the following methods to upgrade various low, medium, and high priced items. The success of the upgrade depends heavily on two main factors: the color of the anvil and scroll placement.Balance of the AnvilThe most important thing you should know is that there is a reason that the Anvil wisps different colors as you upgrade. If you are successful it turns white-goldish, if you fail it turns orange-reddish. This is intentional and was establish to keep balance within the game. So in that respect, our greatest chances of success are immediately after a long series of failures. This is when the Anvil turns bright red. When the Anvil becomes completely red, the next lucky person to do and upgrade will have a nearly 99% chance of success. But, with so many people at the Anvil at a time, it is very tough to be that very next person to quickly hit upgrade. So it is advisable that you try to do your upgrading when there isn't so much of a crowd that you can't beat anyone to the punch, but at the same time you want a few people upgrading next to you so that you can optimize on their failures. SIMPLY PUT, IDEALLY, WE WANT TO WAIT TO QUICKLY HIT UPGRADE IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE ANVIL TURNS SOLID RED. Now to wait for those conditions AND to be the one to consistently succeed in upgrading directly after those conditions would take many hours. So then it comes down to how expensive of an item is this that we're upgrading and is it worth the patience? If it's a low end item, I not going to sit at the anvil all day to INSURE a successful upgrade. Besides, low end items are easier to upgrade anyhow, which we will get to. I think you get my point, but this is the most important concept with upgrading therefore I wanted to be as thorough as possible in my explanation.Scroll PlacementSecondly is the placement of the scroll. You notice that you have 9 options as to when you can place the scroll. There is a set pattern of success rates which are different for each item (although the items can be somewhat grouped into their appropriate classes: low class, middle class, & high class) corresponding to where you place the scroll on the Anvil. Take a look at you're keyboard number pad. Now relate you're keyboard number pad to the spots you can put you're scrolls in. The patterns are as follows:(+1 to +2) place the scroll in spot 2 (approx. 99% success rate)(+2 to +3) spot 2 (approx. 94% success rate)(+3 to +4) spot 9 (approx. 75% success rate)(+4 to +5) spot 6 (approx. 60% success rate), if the particular item fails often at this spot try spot 1(+5 to +6) spot 1 (approx. 40% success rate), if the particular item fails often at this spot try spot 7(+6 to +7) spot 2 (approx. 25% success rate), if the particular item fails often at this spot try spot 3(+7 to +8) spot 4 (approx. 6.0% success rate)(+8 to +9) spot ? (approx. 1.0% success rate)Elemental Upgrades - Adding Stats to your weapons/armorWhen adding stats to weapons or armor, I always use position 1 to place the scroll. I do not recommend adding any stats until you get your weapons/armor to +6. Upgrading to +8 - Glowing WeaponsUpgrading an Item to +8 is perhaps the most tricky and hardest things you can do, but it is well worth the risk in my opinion. The percentage of success of getting an item to +8 is 5%, as long as a Blessed Upgrade Scroll is used. The percentage of success of getting an item to +9 or +10 is 0%. A Trinas Piece adds a 20% increase to your chances no matter what your upgrading and no matter what level your item is at. You do not upgrade an item to +8 as you would any other item. You must get the item to +7/70 or +7/12 first. After you have achieved this you should use a Trina along with a blessed upgrade scroll and must wait for 7 breaks (reds). The chances of there being 7 breaks in a row at the anvil are highly unlikely however there are rare times when a noob tries to upgrade an item and fail consistently. This is when the anvil becomes DARK red. Once you see this you know you have hit the Jackpot. This would be the right time to upgrade such an item (or any other item) to +8 with no hesitation. Hesitation is why I lost many of my items before I came up with this method, Remember If you hesitate then someone else will just upgrade their item and if they do it before you you're item will break and theirs will upgrade.Regular Items (mirages, chitins, etc..)From +1 to +2 will always work with regular upgrade scrollsFrom +2 to +3 you should wait for 1 red before upgradingFrom +3 to +4 you should wait for 2 reds before upgradingFrom +4 to +5 you should wait for 3 breaksFrom +5 to +6 you should wait for 3 breaks and use a blessed upgrade scrollFrom +6 to +7 you should use a blessed upgrade scroll and wait for 4 breaks when you are using blessed upgrade with a lower upper class item you should wait for the followingFrom +3 to +4 you should wait for one breakFrom +4 to +5 you should wait for two breaksFrom +5 to +6 you should wait for three breaksFrom +6 to +7 you should use a blessed upgrade scroll and wait for 4 breaksUpper Class items (shards, elixir, raptor, shells, etc.)From +1 to +3 will always work with regular upgrade scrollsFrom +3 to +4 you should use a Blessed upgrade scroll and wait for 3 breaksFrom +4 to +5 you should use a blessed upgrade scroll and wait for 4 breaksFrom +5 to +6 you should wait for 5 breaks however if you are going to use a Trina which I highly recommend you should only wait for 3 breaksFrom +6 to +7 you should wait for 4 breaks and definitely use a TrinaYou might think unique weapons would be hard to upgrade, but you might be surprised at how easily you can get them to +6 (For Unique items such as Chitin Bow, Scorpion Bow, etc.)From +0 to +1 will work 100% of the time with a Blessed Elemental ScrollFrom +1 to +2 will work 100% of the time with a Blessed Upgrade ScrollFrom +2 to +3 will work 100% of the time with a Blessed Upgrade ScrollFrom +3 to +4 you should wait for 3 breaksFrom +4 to +5 you should wait for 4 breaksFrom +5 to +6 you should wait for 5 breaks OR use a Trina and wait for 3 breaks(Use Trina depending on price of item)From +6 to +7 you should wait for 4 breaks and definitely use a Trina'sFrom +7 to +8 you should wait for 8 breaks and definitely use a Trina's
